Hello World,

Or in this case, anyone who is interested in reading the blogs of a final year college student/professional drama queen. Yup, I’m admitting it from the get-go; I have the slight tendancy to get worked up over things and am hoping this blog will serve to calm some of that!

So, why start a blog? Well firstly, its that time of year folks – yep you guessed it! PROJECT SUBMISSION TIME! Which means I have at least another 1,500 words to write before tomorrow at 1pm…and what better way to procrastinate than to vent in written form over the world wide web?! Secondly, I already have a diary for any of the personal stuff thats top secret – but what about things I want to keep people updated on! Who are these curious people you might ask? Why my friends in different places around the world. Thats who!

Ok – so a little about me. I’m in my third year of a Communications degree in Dublin and I’m speciailising in video production. This leaves my career options open to anything from TV producer to manager at McDonalds. *makes sarcastic yay noise* I live in Dublin full time now, but I’ve lived in Wexford, NY, Wales, and Wicklow. This leaves me with a very perplexed expression upon people asking me the dreaded “so…where are ya from?” My family lives in three different countries, which makes family reunions tough – but eases the tension of us being around each other 24/7 which is pretty positive I have two adorable little nephews in England who are the cutest, smartest little people ever! Ask me about them…and I warn you in advance…you could be listening for awhile! I’m into theatre and drama in a BIG way. Couldn’t live my life without it! And I work part time in a Karen Millen shop, which keeps me pretty busy when Im not doing college stuff or drama things!

Things I like: The Yankees, Josh Ritter, the colour green, tea, sunny days, stripy socks, Dr. McDreamy, RENT, Chanel, Sex and the City, Getting dressed up, dancing, Hercules (the disney version), muffins, getting long distance phone calls, my mum’s roast chicken, Scrubs, karaoke, Nicholas

Things I dislike: Ketchup, running for buses when Im late, people who refuse to weight their bananas, complicated men, generic techno music, room inspections (yea…living on campus has its downfalls), awkward silences, skinny jeans, ren and stimpy, early and cold mornings

Actually, most of the above is pretty inherent if you already know me and are reading this!

So thats a little introduction, I’ll be writing more and on a regular basis over the Christmas!
